Art venues, art organizations, and local artists all agree that the Santa Barbara Visual Arts (SBVA) website is an unqualified success as a tool to bring visitors knocking on their doors.

SBVA has filled an important role by providing Santa Barbara County (and the world) with an alternative source of news about what is going on on the local (Santa Barbara County) art community. Quite simply, SBVA — despite being an all volunteer effort on a shoe-string budget — is one of the Internet’s best art destination websites.

And we hope to get even better. With your help.

While other regional art news websites are foundering, crashing, firing staff, and closing, SBVAA plans to expand. We want to make our website even better by providing you with more and greater coverage of art events and people. Plus some neat features to aid prospective visitors to reach that art venue door.
